A BIT ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Chicago Illinois but spent most summers in Wisconsin. Which taught me to appreciate both city life and country living. Throughout elementary school, I gravitated toward the arts. I loved drawing, painting, music, and dance. I am very happy that I was able to participate in all. Once I was in high school, my passion spread to technology. I was in the Robotics and Tech club while still staying connected to the arts, including joining a Middle Eastern Dance Club. I did have some ups and downs in college. After receiving my associates in Computer Science, I pursued my bachelor of technology and business but soon realized that I missed incorporating my artistic abilities during my higher education years. As I thought more about continuing in a field where I couldn't incorporate all of my strengths, I realized that if I wanted to be truly happy in a career it needed to tap into my artistic side as well. Once I discovered User Experience Design, I realized that it embraced all my passions and knew what I wanted to pursue a career in.
UX Design meshes tech design with the importance of connecting with users. Being in customer service and through life experiences, I have a natural instinct to try and provide for people's needs. I believe empathy is very important when it comes to customer satisfaction. Another important value that I hold is balance through diversity. Between life experiences and skill sets, people will come up with different ideas that will positively affect products.
